About the Role

As a Social Media Marketing Intern at Laurie's Grain-Free Bakehouse, you will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our faith-based values and brand image. Your creativity and passion for digital marketing will be essential in crafting engaging content, building meaningful connections with our followers, and expanding our online reach. Your work will contribute to creating a warm and inviting online community centered around our shared values.

• Create and schedule compelling social media content across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) that reflects our brand's mission and values.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with our audience in a genuine and friendly manner.
• Assist in developing social media campaigns to promote new products, special offers, and events.
• Analyze social media metrics to assess the performance of content and campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in using social media platforms for marketing purposes.

  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to create engaging and uplifting content.

  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

  • A passion for social media marketing and a desire to make a positive impact through digital channels.

Time Requirements and Availability:

The internship at Laurie's Grain-Free Bakehouse is a part-time position, requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week. The internship duration will span 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability.
